Baby Boomster said that the facility used to make Waiakea water bottles uses 33% renewable energy and goes to great lengths to keep even its packaging environmentally friendly. The water is the first of premium bottled beverages and waters to be certified CarbonNeutral. Packaging is made using only high grade, 100% recycled polyethylene terephthalate plastic.
This kind of plastic uses up to 85% less energy than the traditional manufactured plastic bottles used in the past. The manufacturing process helps to reduce carbon emissions by 90% and the plastic is BPA free.
